Sheridan Granger-Ryan
Registered Psychologist
Sheridan is a registered psychologist and clinical psychology registrar who graduated from the University of Southern Queensland in 2025. She has experience supporting the rehabilitation and recovery of people across correctional mental health and allied health settings, with a particular interest in working with people experiencing complex mental health difficulties and chronic health conditions. She adopts a warm and empathetic approach to therapy, drawing on trauma-informed and neuro-affirming principles to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore and work through their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
Sheridan currently works with adults and older adolescents aged 16 years and over. Her therapeutic practice incorporates evidence-based approaches including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour-informed therapy (DBT-informed), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and psychodynamically informed psychotherapy. She offers both short- and longer-term therapy, working collaboratively with each client to tailor treatment to their unique needs, goals, and circumstances.
Sheridan also offers psychological assessment services for cognitive, learning, emotional, and behavioural concerns, and can provide diagnostic assessment reports under clinical supervision.
