Ross Garnsey
Psychologist
Ross has been part of the Magnolia House team since 2022 and is a registered psychologist with a strong background in youth work and case management. He holds a degree in Behavioural Sciences (Psychology) from Queensland University of Technology and a Graduate Diploma in Advanced Psychology from Monash University.
Ross brings extensive experience working with children and adolescents, having previously worked as a case worker within youth justice and as a youth worker in residential care settings. This background informs his thoughtful and grounded approach to psychological practice.
He is passionate about working with individuals across the lifespan, with particular interest and experience in supporting people with complex mental health presentations, trauma histories, neurodivergence, and intellectual disability.
Ross is known for his empathic, holistic, and collaborative approach to therapy. He works closely with clients, families, and relevant stakeholders to support meaningful and sustainable outcomes. He also has a strong foundation in psychometric assessment and evidence-based intervention.
