Georgia Bennett
Counsellor
Georgia is a qualified Social Worker and Circle of Security Facilitator with a background in mental health, trauma-informed care, and child and family wellbeing. She is passionate about supporting individuals and families to build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change in their lives.
With experience across hospital, community, and private practice settings, Georgia has worked closely with young people, families, and adults who may have experienced a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and the impacts of family and domestic violence. She has also supported children in out-of-home care and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
Georgia’s practice is grounded in attachment and trauma theory, drawing on frameworks such as strengths-based and person-centred approaches. She values empathy, collaboration, and empowerment, creating a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their experiences and work toward personal growth and wellbeing.
She has a particular interest in youth (aged 12 and up), and adult mental health, family relationships, and supporting clients navigating complex or high-risk situations within community or private settings.
